Movie Review: The Avengers

The Avengers. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Natasha Romanoff and Hawkeye assembled to defend the Earth against alien invasion led by Loki.

Nick Fury, the Director of SHIELDS, assembled superheroes to defend the Earth against unknown and yet powerful creatures who are about to invade the Earth.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has found the mysterious but powerful Tesseract device and the World War II Army's super soldier Steve Rogers or better known as Captain America who remained young after decades of being freezed.

The Tesseract is actually a gateway to an entirely new world called Asgard, the world where Thor comes from.
Loki arrives on Earth and immediately assents that he can rule all human beings. But that troubles S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury the wrong way.

As Loki steals the Tesseract from the SHIELD headquarter, Nick Fury believes this is an act of war against Earth. His only hope is to assemble an actual team of super heroes.

Dr. Bruce Banner, who turns into gigantic green monster, when he gets angry, known as the Hulk. Tony Stark, a Billionaire and America’s most popular superhero, is expected to be in his Iron Man suit. Captain America, the Stark Enterprises created super soldier during the World War and Cold War. Thor, thunder god of Asgard. SHIELD’s master assassins Hawkeye and Natasha Romanoff. Together they will become a team to take on an attack that will call them to become the greatest of all time.

This is the first time that big stars are assembled in one superhero science fiction action movie.

The Avengers movie offers fun thrilled action in its entire film. Stories of different superheroes that were assembled were pooled perfectly.  The movie shows conflict between superheroes themselves but they are able to make a way for these superheroes to unite.

The acting of casts are perfect and their role equally distributed. Superheroes are have their own time and no one is above the other in this film although there are emphasis on who can do one particular job for a particular situation. Script and directing reconciled the differences of superheroes and the stories of different Marvel films.

Story was well articulated in this reasonable lengthy film. They perfectly connected previously made Marvel films. The film has light and serious parts. It balances the interest of all movie enthusiasts.
Since it is filled with superheroes in one movie, it doesn’t need so much or exaggerated sound effects but they made it perfectly fine. Visual effects are backed up with great acting skills of all the actors.
