Miss International 2013. Bea Rose Santiago emerged as victorious in the recently concluded Miss International 2013. She bested 66 other contestants. In this she posed with Nathalie den Dekker of Netherlands and Casey Radley of New Zealand.

Top 5 News: Martilyo Gang Struck Anew

Another robbery with the same agenda of robbing jewelries struck SM Mall and this time it is SM North EDSA. President Aquino and DILG Secretary Mar Roxas swiftly responded after the incident took place.

After few days of this incident, the authorities decided to ban selling of hammers to avoid repeat of the robbery. They included the ban of using eye shades and cap while inside the mall to easily identify perpetrators.

Top 4 News: SLEX Bus Accident

Bus accidents are always fatal. The Manila Skyway bus accident proves it by killing at least 22 people after the Don Mariano bus lose control and fell away from the Skyway. This is the worst ever happened in the Manila Skyway.

The owner of the Don Mariano bus line also owns five more buses that are considered killer bus. Dr. Melissa Lim and her family own the Fermina Express, Mencorp, Commuters, Nova Auto Transport and Roval Transport.

Top 3 News: Airport Shooting

Mayor Ukol Talumpa of Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, his wife and nephew, and an 18-month old baby were killed in an ambush inside the vicinity of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

This is said to be an ambush because the mayor has a strong anti-drug campaign in his town.

There were no CCTV camera and there's little security within the area was shooting happened. This has caught the attention of the media, investigators and the people concern in this incident.

Top 2 News: Leviste's parole and his drug haven farm

Controversial Antonio Leviste, former Governor of Batangas, has availed his parole and released from the jail. The family of the victim has already approved the parole of Leviste. President Aquino, however, wants a probe on Leviste's parole saying he is not convinced that the convicted killer should be granted a parole.

Few days after this sensationalized parole, Leviste ranch was raided by the police. The responding police force has seized p420 million of shabu. The notorious Mexican drug cartel is said to be hiding and keeping their shabu supply in the rented farm owned by Leviste.

Top 1 News: Miss International 2013, third beauty title for the country

Another title, another pride to be proud. Bea Rose Santiago won the Miss International 2013 in a highly contested beauty pageant. She bested 66 other contestants from around the world.

In her Question and Answer portion, she is thankful to all the help that came from different part of the world and she is willing to extend the help and camaraderie among nations.

This is the third beauty title for the country after the Philippines won the Miss Supranational and Miss World this year.
