Manny Pacquaio reclaimed WBO Welterweight Title

Manny Pacquaio vs Jessie Vargas

After short retirement stint, Manny Pacquaio returned to the ring to claim WBO Welterweight Championship.

The People's Champ beats Jessie Vargas via decisive unanimous decision.

All three judges scored in favor of Pacquaio with 118-109, 118-109 and 114-113.

Pacquaio knocked down Vargas in the second round which enraged the crowd at the Thomas and Mack Center arena.

Vargas recovered and went strong the rest of the fight. He exchanges punches with Pacquaio and scored some.

Manny Pacquaio now has 59 wins, 6 losses and 2 draws in his record. Jessie Vargas suffered his second loss (27 wins, 2 losses) in his 29 fights.

Pacman will have a guaranteed $4M minimum take home after this fight.

On the other Filipino fight, Nonito Donaire was dethroned by Mexican Jessie Magdaleno.

The Filipino Flash surrendered his WBO Super Bantamweight belt to a younger boxer.

All judges scored in favor of Magdaleno, 116-112, 116 -112 and 118-110.
